Picture this:
You're alone, floating in space. Earth slowly becomes smaller as you drift farther and farther away. Your body is weightless, and your mind now dominates as the primary aspect of your being. You experience the utmost serenity as all your superficial worries melt away. But as you watch the stars dance around you, you realize that you are utterly alone. On one hand, you are totally at ease and content, but at the same time, you are terrified of the possible imminent loneliness. Suddenly, you feel yourself become very tired. The waltzing globes of fire fade away as your eyes slowly shut. You find yourself now in a dream state. Anything at all is possible. You envision yourself drifting along a quiet river. You know that you could dream up anything to put an end to your loneliness. Although this may seem like the perfect world, none of it is real. You now find yourself in a limbo between reality and the dream world. You may choose one place to remain in forever. If you choose reality, you know you will be forever at ease and peaceful, but you will also always fear unhappiness. However, if you choose the dreamland, you can live your wildest fantasies and be happy, but at the cost of not actually living. Is reality more important than happiness?
